Something Wicked This Way Comes

Hello, Fire Enthusiasts. I just wanted to let you know that I posted something Friday over on Marissa's blog, Something Wicked This Way Comes. It was just a fun look through the scariest films that my DVD library has to offer. There are some newer films and there are some classics. I hope you will take a moment to look it over and let me know what you think of it. I hope to take a look at some newer films this Halloween season so that I may post some reviews. Let me know if there is something that any of you think I might find interesting.

Thanks to all of those who took the time to watch my first-ever video blog last weekend, and thanks for all of the positive comments. I do believe the vlog will return. Whether or not I use it to read some of my work remains to be seen.

Have a great weekend.

We'll talk soon.

  1. I can't watch scary movies. I get TOO scared. The only movie on your list that I have seen is Bram Stoker's Dracula.

  2. You know, MP, the older I get the less I watch them. I like them suspenseful, but not gory. Thanks for stopping by, my Captain. ;)

  3. I'm the worst scary movie watcher EVER! My husband has the scars to prove it (from our dating days, when we saw Halloween together).

Now my son is interested in watching movies such as Psycho, Jaws, and The Birds. I'm terrified of this stuff!

Scariest movie for me ever: The Shining. What was I thinking?

  4. Yeah, the last thing a parent wants is to have their kid running around the house chanting, "Red rum"! For those of you who don't know that film, try "red rum" backwards.
Thanks, Julie. Extra credit to you for commenting on two seperate blogs about the same post. ;)

  5. Yeah, I can't watch scary movies either. After seeing The Sixth Sense, I couldn't sleep for a month.

  6. Wow, Talli! Really? Only The Exorcist does that to me. It usually takes me three days to get over it. On the other hand, I don't tend to watch too many scary things these days. I wouldn't mind watching something scary. I'm just not too interested in blood and mutilation.
Thanks so much for stopping by,

  7. Alien was just on TV again recently and I saw it for about the 25th time. As for The Omen, that's 1 really scary scene before Damian has 1 of his meltdowns! Like this version better than the remake.

  8. Thanks for stopping by, Lisa. I must admit that I have failed to see any of the recent horror remakes, except for "The Fog". "Friday the 13th" actually looked like it might be good when I saw the trailer. Perhaps one day I'll see it.
    Thanks again,
    -James

Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you taking the time. I'll get back to you here or on one of the other social networks. It's not like we're not on all of them, right? ;) Also, if you're here to give me an award - bless you. However, your friendship and visits are more than enough. Thanks and blessings.
