My wife likes to go to ballgames, but my Cubs were so terrible at the start that I never wanted to go. We live in California, so San Francisco, L.A. or San Diego were do-able, but I couldn't bear it. *sigh*
Take care and thanks for stopping by. I will immediately seek you out as well.
-JamesJames Garcia Jrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00559119178720751963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232628723576241448.post-35737203312606270782010-11-09T19:21:44.734-08:002010-11-09T19:21:44.734-08:00I found you over at Anastasia's blog. I would say that it'll happen in my lifetime, but it's been 102 years already... Yeah, the Cubs winning a World Series, that would be some kind of fiction!! *big laugh, followed by sad face*
Take care and good luck with the big November project. I have difficulty picking a team to root for as I think all of them have great qualities and players. So - I usually go with the opposite of my hubby, just to make it interesting in the house during the World Series HAHA! Sorry about your Cubbies! Maybe you should write a story about them actually winning the championship - it might just make it actually happen!Anastasia V. I'm currently working on an article for the mag, polishing book two, followed by thinking up the next Wicked Writers post. *sigh* If I could just figure out how to quit my day job while keep my salary, everything would be perfect. ;)
How about you? They seem to play really well up to a point but just as they near that critical point, they lose their momentum.

With the Rangers, they were just beaten by a better team. The Giants were younger, faster and played harder than the Rangers.

I wanted the Rangers to win too, but it is what it is.

You know the Cubs' motto: Wait till next year.Maria Zanninihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01604862636922299273noreply@blogger.com
