I may steal your idea and do a similar post...

LarryDiscConnectedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07013919800637508392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232628723576241448.post-76662605442425281772013-09-11T13:14:04.066-07:002013-09-11T13:14:04.066-07:00I used to listen to the Billy Squier cassette tape...I used to listen to the Billy Squier cassette tape (ahem) on my way to and from college!

Some great picks on here. From your faves, I like the MCR and 30 Seconds to Mars albums the most. It is too bad that now many don't experience the albums like they used to since you can buy individual songs. I am guilty of that, but if I do really like a band, I always buy the album.
Speaking of Dokken, Don Dokken yelled at me at a recent concert (same as the Winger one, during Sebastian Bach's set) for standing on his amps. Whoopsie! They were next to the stage and I was dancing!
Lastly, some albums I'd listen to from start to finish is Third Eye Blind's debut album, Appetite for Destruction by GnR. Recent ones include Papa Roach's latest, The Connection. I also just bought Mike Sanchez's new one, Stars and Hotel Bars. He's more mellow like Train or Daughtry, but really like this album.
Fun discussion!Kelly Polarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10968381456100611120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232628723576241448.post-1752042251177433442013-09-10T17:15:09.078-07:002013-09-10T17:15:09.078-07:00Hi Jimmy! So funny cuz I just found it in an old stash and have been listening to it for the last 2 days. So great! RIP Michael.
And Marvin Gaye---unparalleled. RIP Marvin
Black Crowes was a staple!! I've seen them in concert like 3 times. Floyd will always rock of course.
It's rarer than one would think to find an entire album from start to finish that just rocks, but a few of my faves are Alice in Chains' Facelift and Jar of Flies, and Pearl Jam's Ten.PK HREZOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650153097981426833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232628723576241448.post-38074171655242979172013-09-09T20:51:01.551-07:002013-09-09T20:51:01.551-07:00So many of your album choices had me nodding my he...So many of your album choices had me nodding my head. I would also add Chicago 17, Norah Jones Come Away With Me, Erasure The Circus, Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill, Jim Croce Time In A Bottle, Poison Open Up And Say...Ahhh!, Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet...oh, I could go on and on, but I'll stop there. ;-) Thanks, Jimmy! Both that album and Pornograffitti are ones you can listen front to back.
Dokken, Def Leppard, Judas Priest - all good choices.
I'd add GTR. They only did one album but it's amazing.
I'd also claim every Rush and Dream Theater album ever made, but then I am biased.Alex J. So, I'll just agree and say I love some Paula Cole, Maroon 5, and INXS!alexiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07122487552931794871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6232628723576241448.post-49714864359733055652013-09-09T07:43:53.079-07:002013-09-09T07:43:53.079-07:00You listed a few albums I have. When I hear one song from this album, I usually want to hear the whole thing, from beginning to end.

As for Pink Floyd. Yeah, I could never get through "Dark Side of the Moon" (although my husband also loves it). That's one strange album!Stacy McKitrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898731847653710759noreply@blogger.com
